The collared bush-robin or Johnstone's robin is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is endemic to Taiwan, living in montane and subalpine forests. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has assessed it as a least-concern species.

Typical Environment
Occurs throughout Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range and associated highland ridges, favoring montane evergreen and coniferous forests. It uses forest edges, clearings, and subalpine shrublands with dense understory and bamboo thickets. Birds often forage close to the ground in mossy, shaded areas and along trails. During harsh weather it may shift slightly downslope but generally remains in high-elevation habitats.
