The yellow-throated mountain greenbul, also known as the yellow-throated greenbul, is a species of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is native to the Eastern Arc Mountains of Tanzania.

Typical Environment
Occurs in evergreen and submontane to montane forests of the Eastern Arc in Tanzania, including forest interior, edges, and well-wooded secondary growth. It frequents midstory to canopy layers, moving through vine tangles and along ridges. The species also uses bamboo thickets and riparian forest where available. It is generally tied to intact or semi-intact forest but can persist in selectively logged habitat near forest edges.

Formerly placed in the genus Andropadus, this bulbul is now in Arizelocichla and is one of many Eastern Arc endemics. It forages quietly in dense montane forest and often joins mixed-species flocks. Its bright yellow throat is a key field mark, but the species is more often detected by its mellow, whistled song.
